5-6 apples - any kind
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 yellow cake mix
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Peel, core and slice the apples. Place in greased 9x13 pan. Melt butter and then mix in the cake mix, sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle over the apples and bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream! I have also made this with pears! Yummy!
